I`m Paul Summerfield, born and bred in the fine town of Hounslow, I have a IT background of 20 years!!! has it really been that long...

I moved to the Lake District, Cumbria, 2 years ago with my beautiful Cumbrian born wife Emma and our bubbly and mischievous baby daughter Rhianna Skye to start a new adventure, chapter in our lives so we found an old mill house built in 1781 and have been renovating it which I am glad to say is very nearly now complete!

I have been totally inspired by the lakes and have discovered a latent talent for painting in oil. This gives me the opportunity to convey on canvas my vision of the lakes, and other places I have been fortunate enough to visit, I`m completely in tune with the Lakes way of life it must be the clean air and the friendly way of locals up here I would totally recommend it to anyone!

You might think why are these oil painting so reasonably priced compared to Gallery Prices... are they any good?

Well I think the paintings on my website speak for themselves, I`m only charging for materials and a little bit of my time and of course the most important ingredient...My passion for art as I truly enjoy oil painting and think its important that other people can appreciate my paintings at an affordable price.
